How Is A Breast Lift Performed?
Breast lift operations, which typically last between 2 – 4 hours, are conducted under general anesthesia with the procedure's length varying based on the extent of breast sagging. There are three primary techniques for making incisions during a cosmetic breast lift, each suited to different needs and degrees of sagging. The periareolar, or "doughnut lift," involves an incision around the nipple's edge and is ideal for those with minor sagging. The "lollipop" or "keyhole" technique includes an incision around the nipple and areola that extends down to the breast fold, suitable for moderate sagging. Lastly, the "anchor" incision, designed for significant sagging, encircles the nipple and areola and extends vertically to the breast crease and then horizontally along the breast fold. Dr Nick Howland was able to give me the trust I need it to go through a rough surgery for my body. I love the results i love the confidence it gave me back, his staff treated me like a queen. His incisions were perfect and you hardly can tell the incisions since it looks like a hair line. very impressive with his skills for sculpting. I totally will recommend him and use him again.
